Overall, I liked the story line for this book, but it got mired in the mud and the characters didn’t act as their wise reps indicated. The narrator’s performance was sometimes spot on and other times just off and slower than needed…I think at those points he was working to differentiate between the various male characters.

And one additional note, I must agree with another review…sometimes the main character sounded like a dunce – too often for my taste.

Again, overall – I like the story line of Aulay and Jetta – just very similar to the third book…it’s unlikely I’ll get additional books since the themes for 2 of the books were so similar. I’ve like other Sands books especially the series with the sisters where 2 books were told from different sisters point of view…novel idea! 🙂
