The story is interesting and the setting believable. The narrator does a great job.

My issue is that I hate indecisive characters, waffling on problems that are both obvious and repeatedly pointed out. Problems that could have very easily been dealt with. It feels like it’s breaking the story rules and that gets under my skin. It’s a bad way to make the plot point happen that the writer wants. I’m hard pressed to keep going even though I enjoy the setting.
