i found this book categorized under Fiction> Gay & lesbian. i was ecstatic to find Post-apocalyptic/ survival thriller featuring a main character who is Non-binary and hoping it was not too campy but was lied to. i’m pretty sure they categorized this book wrong (i’m going to ask support later). the book came out recently so there wasn’t much info on it or a squeal so maybe he could be bi later on in the series? but judging from how it ended i’m confident he isn’t gay…yet.

The story was decent but a cookie cutter, it follows a lot of same formula you would find in any Post-Apocalyptic genre, nothing too surprising or exciting happens that wouldn’t normally expect. maybe if the author went into more detail about the nano-virus or how the EMP changed the world it would have made the story more interesting. i don’t want sounds too harsh but the dialog and everything was bland.

The story wasn’t long and narrator was the only reason i listen too the end. Andrew B. Wehrlen made me more invested in the main character and is the only reason i maybe consider listening to the squeal.
