minor spoilers: decent story. a few things i felt were weak. i expected a 4th god who emparted the black magic to arkon, but no. a mere mortal became powerful enough to challenge gods and there was never much explanation other than motive. training for our young magicers was just a “meditate and show no fear”. some other nit picks as well. probably not one i would listen to multiple times, but if you are hard up for a new series it is complete and it is entertaining for a single pass.
