- What disappointed you about Razer Edge?
- I had read book 2 of this Roak series and had liked that one. I have read few other books from Jake Bible and liked those too. But in this current book I was mostly disappointed because of the plot repetition. The hero again goes on a high-risk-high-reward mission and what follows is exactly as what you would expect from a high-octane action movie. There almost non-stop mindless action scenes where everyone but Roak dies and our hero moves on to the next fight. Even when he gets injured, medicine is at hand and then onto the next battle and so on.
And then the book ends in a cliffhanger. Ugggh.
- What could Jake Bible have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
- Instead of endless battles, I would’ve like to see normal life on the space station or lives of the different characters involved. The battles should’ve been less in number and there should’ve been more at stake, with real consequences.
- Any additional comments?
- I received this audiobook for free from the author / narrator / publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.
