Mid-Career Reading

Every first responder has a time, somewhere in the middle of their career, where they know the big one is coming.

They should read this book before it does.

Before they have to battle the beast, before they realize they cannot defeat death, they should read this book.

If nothing else, first responders should read this before they retire.

We may not be just our careers, but the careers do make up some of the largest parts of who we are. This book helped me understand that, and find peace in that, in ways that had not happened with other books in the same genre.
