This story is a little melodramatic and cliche. It’s also obvious that something happened to Moonlight’s girlfriend in a previous book of this series. And we’re left hanging at the end as regards this girlfriend, but honestly, I don’t really care about the girlfriend or their relationship. I’m also not impressed by Elvis and all the movie references. Overall, I’m somewhat disappointed with this story.
Andrew B. Wehrlen has made these characters his own with another satisfactory performance.
