The concept is cool and for the first few chapters it is fun. As the plot unfolds and the “motivation” of the antagonist and plot comes to light it is just all gaping plot holes and silly characters, The reasoning behind this is is just plain dumb. Then we meet the OTHER big antagonist and suddenly the whole thing goes from time travel to a big monster is out to get us?

Im trying not to spoil anything, but story just felt like someone had a clever time travel twist and made the rest up with empty cliches as they went along. Book went off in a dozen silly tangents full of silly coincidcesm aliens and every other thing the chef could stuff in the pot.

The narrator has a great radio voice but bothered me the entire time. It sounded like a radio DJ reading a campfire story to you, just very one note throughout.

Book is good for about 2-3 hours then you will see what I am saying it goes in a bunch of silly, nonsensical direction. Robots, monsters, “bigfoot”, mad scientists, silly tech and incredible coincidences that just happen to tie stuff together.

Not awful, but not a story with any real thought or arc either.
