The story was alright but I absolutely hate how the narrator switches voices for narrating inner monologues for the MC and the actual speaking voice of the MC. It is jarring to say the least and trying to figure out which character is talking at any given moment prohibits me from losing myself in the story. I’m only about 5 hours in and am seriously considering returning this book because of it.
