this litrpg tale was kind of boring and didn’t hold my interest all that well. I kept not really caring about the characters. I don’t like Edward and his friends just aren’t that interesting. the magic system is boring. one spell per day? and useless spells at that. the concept of the he Inquisition is more interesting than the reality. how could the events of this book slip the notice of the Inquisition if they can track Edward’s imports into the undercity so easlily? the only explanation is narrative expedience. lazy writing makes me sad.
