It was refreshing to not have an overly sexual book full of weird kinks but I can’t deny I was disappointed. Most the male characters were basically cry babies. Overly emotional, illogical, and everyone made poor decisions. Case was always crying or angry about nothing. The main female protagonist was bad at her job, acted like a teenager and threw many tantrums. The author marketed the book well but I didn’t care for the characters development. It felt juvenile at best.
