I was really hoping to enjoy this story. It started off well, but had very little depth and felt like it was missing some build-up. It almost seemed rushed – like the first half of the book is basically a month or two of time passing and the last half is kicked into overdrive, sprinting towards some finish. I bought Forget Me Not Bombshell and listened to it and absolutely loved it, so I’m pretty disappointed in this one. I’ll keep listening to this series, but after this, I’m not having high hopes.
