it is interesting take on the genre. it has plenty of positives. yet due to its way of handling the story (can’t say more as I don’t want to go in spoilers), it simply has no chance of building interesting (for me) characters. so by the end of it, I am bored
the saving grace, and if it wasn’t for it I would not finish the book, is the narrator and the effects used while reeading. he does a killer job. bit that’s not enough for me to like this book more, or to give the next books in the series a shot.
good idea, valiant effort, but it is just an ok-ish book and nothing else
