The story moves slowly. After 3 hours it finally got into the main flow of the story, but even then the writing was not immersive and captivating. It wasn’t poorly written at all, but just… meh. The narrator was clear and expressive, but seemed distant or somewhat disengaged. Like other reviewers I’d guess he’d be better in other genres.
