The female protagonist is basically an idiot. She’s a marine biologist, not a Navy Seal. So I wasn’t sure why she kept going back to the hotel to try and save people. Especially, after someone tries to kill her. You would think that after a person tried to off you, you wouldn’t keep doing whatever this person tells you to do but this woman does. Honestly, she was so stupid she deserved to die. Her character was so annoyingly stupid that it just ruined the book for me. Also, the ending didn’t really resolve the situation for me.
