I like the Lit RPG genre and this book had good reviews so I thought I’d give it a shot but, I found myself getting irritated and not liking Jason (main character).

– Has a victims mentality and is a bit narcissistic.
Narrator
– Monotone, Jason sounds whiney
Story
– Generic high school story + futuristic gaming + rogue AI
– Low level characters one shotting high level characters = no game ever
