This book feels like it is for a target audience that isn’t me. The character development felt linear and bland. The characters feel bland until a point where they jump to tons of character and emotional development but it feels rushed and disingenuous. The writing for the fight scenes are brilliant. The beginning is bland as well as the first 10 or so hours of book. Takes a long time to get into and is slow. As the book wrapped up it seemed rushed which was different to most of the book which drawled on with little happening. The end was horrid I hated it. It left a lot to be desired and made it seem like the author was just required to keep it under the word count. I will not be picking this up again but might recommend to one or two people.
