Franklin has spun another great post apocalypse story., jammed packed with thrilling adventure. Mad Mick, a character from another series, I believe “Grace Under Fire” is a 3rd generation bomb maker from North Ireland. His Mom brought them to Boston, then to further escape his IRA brothers & enemies, they settled in W Virginia. After the SHTF, he settled in, with his independent-minded daughter in an abandoned coal mine, where he honed his tinkering skills. When a band of thugs over 100 miles away kidnapped his daughter & several other women to use as slave labor, we knew it was just a matter of time before Mad Mick rained all hail on them. Great audiobook, perfect narrator, & just what I needed recovering from eye surgery. This character will hopefully find his way to The Borrowed World Series. Nice job again Franklin.
