An in depth look at Wade McClusky’s life with a focus leading up to, covering, and following the Battle of Midway.

The author looks to clarify some aspects of both McClusky’s life and specific points of his service that prior authors either got wrong completely or mis-interpreted. I think this is more than servicable look at the naval pilot and his service record.

The narration can be sedate at times but if you are drawn to the Battle of Midway I think this is a worthy addition to your library. In depth details of the soldier/pilot/officer/nco help to give insight into the conflict and those who fought during them.
