I’ve been reading a lot of newer authors to try to make up for how quickly I burn through books, and this one was a winner. Lately, more and more authors in this genre are weak, spineless people who look like they’re going to experience personal growth to be stronger. Unfortunately, that often isnt the case and the Mc skates through the series on bad jokes, way too much self pity, and nor nearly enough planning for the future. This MC knocks it out of the park. He does what needs to be done and doesn’t whine and complain about the injustices of the world for more than a page before moving on with his life. Thank you for a wonderful book!
