This is the second series of his that I have listened to. His books get me hooked from the beginning. I love that he inserts scripture and I pick up things that I have not caught when reading the Bible on my own. However, even if you are not a Christian, I believe you will still enjoy his stories. Give him a chance, I think he will move towards the top of your favorite author list as well. I listened to the Beginning of Sorrows series and then when it ended, I immediately purchased this series to continue. This series can be a standalone as well. There is nonstop action in his stories. He also will make you think because he shows you that what is going on in the world today has been foretold. Take a chance and give it a listen, I truly believe you will not be sorry!
