It started off a little prickly. I probably should’ve known it’d inevitably escalate… but starved as I am for an escape from real world events; I stuck it out.

The overall story is decent enough. The narrator is above-par acceptable. There’s quite a lack in depth: narrative, emotional, character, etc. As previously stated, these things arent make or break attributes; So long as a book possesses some degree of ability to transplant my mind into its alternate/fictional reality, I’ll be gracious.

It is basically all socio/political allusion, allegory, and whine. *Unless you lean toward right-wing ideology and are looking for some like-minded commiseration/comfort, you might be thoroughly aggitated and turned off by the time Book 3 sets in..As i now find myself. If youre inclined to the former part of that statement, this will likely be a 4-5☆ listen for you ..and Im happy about your enjoyment…I do wish I received as much.. but ..alas… I definitely did not.
