I dislike the term SIMP but that is what the MC is. From risking his life for a pretty face he knew for five minutes to feeling guilty he didnt make his adopted dad stay in a unhappy relationship with a unfaithful wife. This guy is a push over for the women and takes on all the guilt for that. He even is willing to let his secret get out and end his life just so a girl doesnt get sad. Yes he will let himself be hunted just so she isnt SAD….wtf is wrong with him.
And no it’s not hes just a good guy because you know he isnt going to risk his life to save some old bad smelling bald man from danger. He does it because shes a pretty girl.
This guy is constantly putting on others choices as his own and taking guilt for it. Like hes responsible for all humans or what his dad does and many more. It’s just plain sick. If it wasnt for the mimic some times smacking sense into him, I’d had dropped the book.
So only read if you dont mind the white knight hero complex woke simp. Using nobles and elf vs humans to stand in for woke speeches.
