This is the complete journey of our main characters Quinton Rossi and Aspen Mather. Both are sent to Corium University – a school where the kids of the mafia go to learn about all things and make connections – but the rule is – you can’t kill. Seems anything and everything else is free game though and since Aspen is the daughter of a known snitch, she’s on everyone’s hit list. Quinton is the son of the mafia king and reigns supreme but even he has to follow some rules. What starts off as a game of torture soon becomes obsession and then oddly enough love. I enjoyed the development of the characters as well as the storyline. Plenty of dark and danger (please be sure to be aware of triggers) and lots of twist and turns and gasp out loud moments. Books one and two end in cliffhangers so I am grateful for the set to continue on with the storyline without break. The narration was well done – I always love dual narrators when possible but found some of the narration stilted and not as smooth flowing as it could have been. Overall, a great bully, mafia romance!
