This book was a lunch time special but I needed it to last until dinner, too. I was so into it then it just abruptly ended. I about cried. It’s got so many loose ends. How did both the families react other than the FMC’s Mom & Aunty & the MMC’s Dad? Even though the MC said “we are together” did they get together beyond the hook up or get married? How much more did they learn with their racial sensitivity training? How did it make a difference in their work lives? Did they apply any of the teachings & new principles? I needed a few chapters with the girlfriends who hooked her up with the training & his homeboy who sent him. I needed more time spent between the characters in & out of the sheets. I just felt so incomplete with this one. I should have looked at the fact that this audio is less than 3 hours. My fault on that one.
I loved the female audio. She was great, but the male fell flat for me. He needed more excitement in his voice when it came to the intimate scene. It was so monotoned. He voice was okay for other portions of this book.
Overall it was a pretty good story line. I enjoyed the idea of where this book could really go. It was different from what I’ve read before which was a good thing. The romance genre is so flooded with stories with the same plots & storylines. I like this take on an interracial relationship. This story could have lead to a stronger deeper & more complete storyline.

However, if you looking for short & sweet then this is just right for you. It was a bit of spice which is the reason I was disappointed I didn’t have more to read. I rate the story higher because I like the plot.
