This was a very low angst, fairly high steam love story that followed a predictable story arc. Once you’ve given up the disbelief and accepted that the fake relationship is necessary, our two MCs fall in love over the span of the story in a reliable manner.
There wasn’t anything inspiring, but it was a nice story with some lovely feelz.
I don’t think I would have stuck with this book had it not been for the narration of Joel Leslie. He gave Elliot a fun accent and kept me giggling and wanting to see what he’d come up with next!
