The Girl in 6E storyline developed masterfully in this book. The main character is intense in a way that makes her believable if you understand her history. I do not know for sure if I would have appreciated this book for all it was without the backstory from The Girl in 6E. Keep writing A.R. Torre! Also, love the choice of narrator. That goes a LONG way for those of us who do not have the hours we long for to sit and read, but who LOVE BOOKS!
