See didn’t do too badly in the first book but in the second he has gotten a lot dumber. No character improvement or expansion.
He hems and haws about giving up command to a more experienced player then freezes when that player gets stuck. He takes back command then when asked what the plan is says something inane like just kill it? Really?
Author completely lost me on this book.
And why do they have to chase the bad guy? All they have to do is wait, lay a trap for him because when the MC fails to send the clue for attunement, the bad guy will come to them and their well-laid, multi-layered trap.
Plot holes galore! Totally lost me.
