The female narrator is really good; I wish she would’ve narrated the whole book. The male narrator was okay, but a little over the top. He also didn’t fit the characters for me. Overall, I’d recommend the audio.
I’ve never read a Foss book, so I was super happy that I loved this! Really cool, unique ideas. Love the chemistry between Issac and Astasiya. There’s also some action and the world building is great! Love that there’s some mystery going on and that there’s different types of paranormal stuff happening. The only thing I didn’t really enjoy reading was Issac’s friends; not my type of people. Isaac was great though; he kind of wears a mask to hide his feelings, but he really is a sweetheart. Astasiya is great too; she isn’t the best at reading people, but she does work it out. Intriguing storyline and strong characters.
Very entertaining, well-developed story! I’m really looking forward to reading the next book! This one ends satisfactorily, but there’s a lot more story to tell.
