Story really catches me, it’s easy and engaging. I don’t have to sit and ponder anything, it’s popcorn fiction and it’s great. I really do enjoy the leveling aspect a lot; in the beginning you get stat blocks pretty frequently which is fine because Anthony isn’t that strong yet, but it gets phased out more as the series goes on. I really like the evolution and growth systems.
And the narrators are bonkers. Honestly, the ranges are so broad for both. Jeff having to switch between blind enthusiasm, screams of pain, and somber reflection is awesome.
