Wow. I have to say I loved this book. Rebecca Cantrell’s Joe Tesla is an incredibly unique character, and in many ways reminded me of Jeffery Deaver’s Lincoln Rhyme. No Tesla isn’t paralyzed, at least not physically. Joe Tesla suffers from severe agoraphobia and now more or less lives underground in New York. Despite his crippling condition, Joe suddenly finds himself caught up in the middle of a decades old conspiracy and soon finds himself running and hiding from the police and the CIA. Loved the story, loved the characters, and can’t wait to learn more about Joe Tesla. What happened to cause his agoraphobia? Will he ever be able to overcome it? What trouble will he find himself wrapped up in next? Jeffrey Kafer is an excellent narrator and deliver a fantastic performance. I was given a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
