I loved everything about this audiobook. This the first book I’ve tried by this author and I am beyond impressed. I am dying to listen to the audiobooks of her other books because I loved listening to this audiobook. It had everything I love in a PNR.
Sarah Puckett was amazing. I really loved listening to her narrate this book. I was so addicted to the audio and I really hope she narrates the second book in the series or I’ll die. She had the perfect amount of sass, sarcasm, and raw emotion. I really felt like the main character was a real person and enhanced my reading experience. She really did this story justice. I also liked Tristan Hunt. I loved his deep voice and kinda wished I got to hear more of him as Xai.
I loved this story so much. Evangeline and Xai were amazing characters and were so much fun to read about. Evangeline was so awesome and really held her own in a fight. I enjoyed her mission trying to clear her name and the love/hate relationship she had with Xai as they had to work together to clear her name. The sexual tension between them was hot and the history between was done very well. I ended up really loving Xai and how much his actions were misunderstood. Daughter of Death is sexy, action packed, and filled with lots of demons and angels. This is a must listen audiobook. It is pure enjoyment. You won’t want it to ever end.
