I had no idea where this book was heading but I liked it.
What started out as an apocalyptic survival listen, ended up as an incredibly well-written science fiction, complete with aliens.
I loved the growth of Poe and August as they both went on this journey. That ending absolutely rocked my world but whatev, I’m over it now. Seriously, it was insanely awesome.
The duo narration was excellent. Both narrators were tasked with taking Poe and August from those manic first days of being the only humans left alive, to the strength and courage they developed to stay alive. It was a great performance!!
This book was not what I expected. It was better!
