I am loving this series by Mari Carr! This one may be my favorite so far. Loved the characters and the storyline pulled at my heart strings. The chemistry between the two leads to a super steamy listen.
Conner Brown has quickly become a favorite narrator of mine. I like Lee Daniels voice, but it took time for me to settle in with her in this book. I have NO idea why. Maybe the writing or something else? But it soon work itself out and I didn’t want to pause the audiobook. I was completely invested. Their emotional performances had this rolling like a movie in my head.
