What a great book. The characters are all very fleshed out, the story is amazing, and Holy cow, do I miss MMOs. I hope VR MMOs get even a fraction close to this ‘game’.

I powered through the first two, bought the third, and pre ordered the 4th.
The MC starts out very unlikable. Spoiled rich kid, “woe is me, my life is so hard!” but I really liked his character arc. Eventually, he learns to make friends, and the people he does that with are also very likeable.
