Finders Keepers was one of my earlier books by NR Walker and one of my absolute favorites! This is a classic go-to listen if I’m ever feeling down in the dumps because Griffin, Dane, and Wicket are wonderful! I love Joel Leslie and he’s the perfect narrator to bring everyone to life. Griffin moves from Brisbane to Coolum Beach to start a new job and picks up a guest when finds a mud-covered dog named Wicket. He calls Wicket’s owner, Dane, to let him know that he found his dog and arrange a meet-up after Dane returns from his business trip. As they wait for the meet-up, both men start talking over the phone while Griffin takes Wicket along on all of his adventures. Once both men meet and Dane collects Wicket, they strike up a friendship where something new and wonderful happens. Both men find the other attractive and start dating. If you throw in Griffin’s stoned landlady and friend, an adorable Wicket, and hot Dane, then you’ll have the perfect audiobook to enjoy 🙂
