Loved by the granddaughter of a Cold-war era navy pilot

I thoroughly enjoyed reading General Yeager’s autobiography. While his time came after Yeager’s, my grandfather was a bomber pilot in the US Navy during the Cold War/Korean War era. He also loved flying so much, and we even got to together to see Gen. Yeager take off in a Mustang at an air show many years ago. This book gives me just a glimpse of why my Grandpa loves flying (even though he’s not able to fly as a pilot anymore)- and to better understand my love of what I do as a critical care nurse. Fives stars for this book!
