The Cuckoo’s call is an opposites attract/age gap romance that will give you all the feels.

I fell in love with Wren right off the bat. He is a young man who is engaging, smart, loyal and so full of snark. When he comes in contact with Teo he is unaware of just who this man is. Teo is a very wealthy older man who keeps his emotions under strict control. That is until he gets involved with Wren!

I loved the connection and dynamics between these two. What on paper shouldn’t work is in fact what works perfectly. While Teo thinks he is showing the younger man new experiences it is really Wren who is showing Teo what real love looks like.

Their journey has some stumbling blocks thrown in their path, thanks to the interference of others. These two are meant for each other and true love will win out in the end!

Joel Leslie does an outstanding job of bringing this story to life.

I devoured this book in one sitting and I know I will be revisiting them again.
