This is my third time reading through this series so far and I love it. I do have to say that I wish there was more anger towards Athen from Lindon. It would have been powerful for him to try to be forgiving but burst into rage against Athen. He’d b in the right to b pissed but he would calm down but be closed off to Athen. Only seeing him as a puppeteer and seeing their relationship as one of mutual exchange. Athen would have to work on gaining his trust again, obviously making Lindon strong is cool but that’s all it would be, they’re relationship would have more dynamics to it and build up Athens mysterious ways until his secrets come out.
Meh still love this series and Lindon recovers greatly from this, just wish in this book he showed more of that fire in him and had his self respect and worth grow more.
