I’ve read this series multiple times and have enjoyed it each time. Finally got to listen when it became available on Audible Plus. I’m still getting used to listening to audios and when I first tried, hated it. At first, I wasn’t sure if I liked Joel Leslie’s narration, but I quickly warmed up to his voice. I like his subtle accents for the characters and it makes them stand out. The only thing that bothered me was the he pronounces Eiji’s name wrong. However, I assume it’s a common occurrence amongst all audiobooks to have mispronunciation of foreign words, so this critique to directed to Joel directly, but towards quality control in general. Overall, I love this series and highly recommend it.
