I’m seeing a lot of people annoyed that the ‘MC’ changed to Zach, but this series has never really had a main character. Yes, we got a lot of Zach and Ryun, but they’re just two large parts to a larger story. Whoever wrote the “cultivation enthusiasts like one MC” should know that it gets really really old reading the same recycled Earth MC just power levels to challenge the system with their humanity or something. This series is so much more. You get the propaganda from one perspective of history and a tiny glimpse of the truth. Then you later get a different perspective with another glimmer of truth. It really feels like you’re experiencing the world while slowly gaining more understanding of this Infinite Realm. The book has a way of convincing you one way then flipping that on its head when we have a different character perspective. Fantastic world building, but I can see how some may think this as slow progression. My one complaint for the audiobook format would be the going over the same characters ‘screens’ often enough that you already know them but need to skip 5m through screens you’ve heard 5 times now.
