If you have a certain sense of humor, you will love this book. It’s hilarious in the way that it never takes itself too seriously. I originally bought the Kindle version, but I wanted to “relive” the humor so I also got the audio one. The narrator does an amazing job of doing voices and adding just the right inflection to make the jokes land on target. It’s a joy to listen to a narrator who understands the source material. If you think a silly book about Greek gods (who are mostly jerks) returning to the near present day sounds like it has potential, please give this a listen. I adore this book. It was even better the second time through, and it is likely I will listen to it again at some point. The adorable, deadly flying kitten “razorwings” are one of my favorite plot elements. I’m reading the sequel now–it’s also very entertaining!
