Love this author!

I received this ARC and was really looking forward to hearing the voices I only imagined in my head. Since I read the book already, I always look forward to hearing the characters come to life on my long commute to work. Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed in the narrators.

The narrator who portrayed Ana seemed as if she was racing to read her characters lines. I had to slow down the speed to even be able to listen. 1x was way to fast and 0.9x was okay but if you went slower it took something away from the character.

I was looking forward to hearing AJ and the slow southern accent I was sure was going to be there however it was not. I heard it in chapter 3 but then it seemed to disappear. It popped up here and there afterwards, but if I had one suggestion it would be that when the chapters are from the H’s point of view, then the voice carries the accents or characters nuances unless speaking for other characters.

The story was, as always, stellar from this author and I have and will continue to read and listen to everything she writes. I am one of her biggest fans and am always looking forward to to the next release. This story is amazing and I have no clue how she can come up with stories that are complex, engaging and keep you guessing till the end. I love this author and encourage others to enter into the Stealth Ops Series, it is not to be missed!
