Love the suspense!

Pulse is a really fast and enjoyable listen. I was hooked from the beginning.

Troy Castelli is a bodyguard at a security company. Currently, he has a choice: go back to his previous assignment or take a vacation.

Dahlia is his assistant. You can tell, even in the early chapters that they are both attracted to each other. They have such great chemistry.

Dahlia has an ex boyfriend who just won’t let go and a father who could be involved in some shady stuff. When Dahlia receives a threatening message, Troy is there to protect her. On his mandatory vacation. Together. Alone. Whatever it takes to protect her, right?

I liked the added element of suspense in this. It took a a bit for me to figure who was the bad guy, and even then I wasn’t totally correct.
