Ilias is Book 2 of the Stratham Shifters series by Sarah Stone. I have to say that I really liked the idea of this series and had high hopes for it. Unfortunately, the execution wasn’t as gripping as I had hoped. Ilias finds his mate in Andrea. Andrea, unfortunately, is a junkie. As Ilias gets closer to his mate, he goes through super quick puberty and they get more in tune. Andrea gets kidnapped and has some other family issues as well. Do Ilias and Andrea find happiness together or are they destined to fail? Well, without giving away any spoilers, I won’t say anymore, though I’m sure you can guess the outcome. I didn’t like Andrea and the Ilias part of the story just felt rushed. I think with a more solid female lead the story would have been improved, though I’m not sure by how much. This isn’t a series that I will be continuing, though I’m sure others will absolutely love it. Note that I did not read Book One, and from reading the reviews already posted, it sounds like reading Book One before this book is advised, as the story carries on form book to book.

Connor Brown’s narration was fine and I didn’t have any issues with his delivery. I’d listen to more of his narration in the future. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for an honest review.
