This is the third in The Leafy Hollow Mystery series. I listened to the book. The narrator is very good.
Aunt Adeline is still missing. Lucy, a book club member is found at the bottom of a cliff. Did she jump, was she pushed? Verity doesn’t want to investigate by Emy, her BFF, twists her arm. Emy’s mother is the main suspect.
There is a lot going on with the birder, the black widow murderer that has been recently released from prison, Verity and Jeff Katsumoro’s (the detective) interactions, Lucy’s past, and the new restaurant owner.
I had a great time listening to this story as I walked.
