I really enjoy Lynn Austin’s writing. This book however, was a tad difficult to follow. She always has multiple characters that are fairly complex and does a really good job of weaving their stories throughout the book. but in this case, it felt a little bit like whiplash to me. That being said, I still listen all the way till the end and by the time I got to the end, I had sorted out the story but felt like if I wanted to get it all, I should go back and start at the beginning again. But I don’t think I will, not every hit can be a home run.
