Karen Rose is one of my go-to authors. I listen to her books over and over.

However, the narrator in this one is the worst I’ve ever listened to. The voices he uses make don’t fit the characters. They sound more like really bad cartoon voices. It makes it hard to like the characters because he makes them sound very unlikable. I certainly hope a new narrator is found for subsequent books in this series because after 15 minutes I vowed to never again listen to another book narrated by him.

The only thing that kept me listening to this was because it’s, Karen Rose and I know the story will be awesome.
