The book is enjoyable and the narrator does a fantastic job. Jasper has experienced a great deal in his short life and you find yourself rooting for him to find the love he so desires. What kept this from being a five star listen for me is the author introduces a lot of elements to us in this story. They are all compelling. I wish they were all fleshed out more. A lot of these elements have a lot of build up that cause conflict when discovered but the resolution often seemed oversimplified. Even with those concerns I gave it four stars because I would recommend this book to others and I would listen again.
