I kept bypassing this book because of the thought of a love with an insectoid alien did not appeal. But I kept seeing all of the good reviews so I gave in. It’s a book that deserves all of the good reviews. I just couldn’t get beyond the fact that she was making love with a bug. The bug was sweet and nurturing but still a bug. I’m just too conventional and have a phobia with bugs to truly enjoy this book.
